Take a ride to the dark side! Ghost Bus Tours partner with the London Dungeon!

20 May 2013

Forget your average route master, your flash silver coaches and take a ride to the dark side instead.  The London Dungeon has partnered with the Ghost Bus Tour to offer our dinner and party guests the ultimate journey to their event.

To celebrate, we have interviewed the main man behind the Ghost Bus Tour  ‘Peter Davis’ and given you the chance to win 2 tickets for the Ghost Bus Tour. So grab a cup of tea and take a read….

Can you sum up the Ghost Bus Tour in 20 words?

The Ghost Bus Tour is a theatrical sightseeing tour around the darker side of London’s history onboard a haunted 1960s Routemaster bus.

How did the Ghost Bus Tour all start?

It started with the idea of combining a sightseeing tour of London with a piece of comedy horror theatre, written and performed by professional actors and comedians. One classic 1960s bus and a few months of refining the show later and The Ghost Bus Tour was born. It has constantly evolved over the years and is now the must see tour of the city.

What’s your favourite part of the Ghost Bus Tour?

My favourite part differs every show. With the very nature of a show on a bus travelling around the ever-changing streets of London and the unpredictable nature of our audiences, no two shows are the same. One thing I always enjoy is the reaction to the onboard surprises on our haunted bus. You never know what effect it will have on the passengers!

Why should guests take the Ghost Bus Tour before an event at the London Dungeon?

The Ghost Bus Tour is the perfect way for London Dungeon guests to start their evening. They will get to hear about London’s macabre history and visit sites of murder, torture and execution before seeing those very moments brought to life inside the London Dungeon itself.
