Ankura Descends into The London Dungeon

Beneath the cobbled streets of South Bank, something wickedly fun unfolded one evening as 30 members of the Ankura team stepped back in time for a private takeover of The London Dungeon.
This wasn’t your typical corporate gathering – no PowerPoint presentations or polite small talk here. Instead, guests swapped meeting rooms for torture chambers, board tables for barrels of ale, and agendas for unexpected screams and laughter.
Welcome Drinks in the Clink
The evening began in true Dungeon style, with welcome drinks served in The Clink – a space that captures the eerie charm of London’s most notorious medieval prison. As guests mingled beneath flickering lanterns, they soaked up the atmosphere (and perhaps a little courage) before the night’s adventures began.
A Journey through London's Dark Past
After drinks, the Ankura team embarked on a personalised tour of The London Dungeon experience, complete with live actors, storytelling, and just the right amount of jump scares. Each twist and turn revealed tales of London’s darker history – from Guy Fawkes’ failed plot to Sweeney Todd’s infamous barber chair – all delivered with humour, flair, and just a touch of fright.
It was team bonding at its most unexpected – laughter echoing through the corridors as colleagues braved the interactive sets together.
A feast (and a few pints) in The Tavern
Their journey ended in The Tavern, a wonderfully atmospheric recreation of a Victorian pub. Here, the screams gave way to cheers as the group gathered for drinks and delicious food from Seasoned, Merlin Venues’ trusted catering partner.
From hearty small plates to creative canapés, Seasoned’s team delivered a feast that perfectly complemented the mood – relaxed, flavourful, and designed for sharing over laughter and conversation.
