Pinterest or ‘Pin Interest,’ as it is often referred to in our office, is a social networking site with a pinboard style photo sharing facility which allows users to craft and manage theme based photo collections. The invite-only site is experiencing rapid growth and has become one of the “fastest growing social services in the world”. Read more on Event Magazine’s blog

So why has everyone gone pin crazy?

The Pinterest masterminds have created an easy way for their users all over the world to organise and share all the beautiful and unique things they find on the web. For Merlin Events, this has presented another platform to share the beautiful events we host.

When planning an event, inspiration for themes, table decorations, entertainment and food can easily be sought by searching other users Pinterest boards. The repin tool provides an easy solution for users to create their own virtual scrapbooks. The Merlin Events Pinterest page showcases mood boards for all types of events as well as themes and our most recent promotional events. Visit the Merlin Events Pinterest page

What’s more, Pinterest users can share the pins on Facebook and Twitter further enhancing exposure. Gone will be the days where numerous photos are attached onto emails or printed in brochures because Pinterest, along with the other key social networking sites, provides a stage for your clients to access all areas.
